Rocket Farms Joins the Fight During Breast Cancer Awareness MonthSource: Rocket Farms

Every October, the red, white and blue turns pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At least two industry companies have gotten into the spirit: Proven Winners is donating proceeds from the sales of its new pink hydrangea, and Rocket Farms is joining the fight against breast cancer as well. Every time a customer buys a pink orchid or calla lily on the company’s website, they’ll donate the proceeds to breast cancer research.

“Breast cancer affects so many individuals and families, and it is so important for everyone to do what they can to help find a cure,” said Marc Clark, executive vice president of Rocket Farms. “We are happy to help in any way we can, and through our Flowers for the Fight Against Breast Cancer Campaign, each pink flower gets us one step closer.”

This is the second year Rocket Farms has celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating money to the organizations in search of a cure. In addition to the Flowers for the Fight Against Breast Cancer Campaign, Rocket Farms is also sending pink orchids to all the hospitals and research centers near the company’s Salinas, Calif., headquarters to show its support for those who work to fight breast cancer every day. Customers can also go online to send pink flowers that show their appreciation for doctors and other medical professionals by sending a pink flower.
