Rocket Farms showed its support for the fight against breast cancer at the Tough Enough to Wear Pink event July 17, 2014 at the California Rodeo Salinas.

Rocket Farms showed its support for the fight against breast cancer at the Tough Enough to Wear Pink event July 17, 2014 at the California Rodeo Salinas.

Rocket Farms gifted 100 locally grown, pink orchids to breast cancer survivors in the grand entry parade, riding in wearing pink sashes. Those in the audience who are fighting or who have fought breast cancer were called out over the speakers to receive their orchids as well. The pink orchids were seen in the sponsor tent throughout the week.

Rocket Farms has been part of the Salinas community since 1985 and supports a variety of health causes, such as Tough Enough to Wear Pink and Relay for Life. Rocket Farms is also a sponsor of this year’s California Rodeo Salinas.

Rocket Farms is a grower of indoor potted flowers, fresh cut herbs and potted edibles in the country, enhancing lives with beautiful products that support a healthy lifestyle.

California Rodeo Salinas, took place July 17 to 20. It is the largest rodeo in California and one of the top 10 regular season professional rodeos in the U.S.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink is a year-long, western-industry-wide fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research, and a special event night for the California Salinas Rodeo.
