SAF Presents Paul Ecke Jr. Award
Floral spokesperson, trainer and business adviser Carol Caggiano, AIFD, PFCI, is the 2013 SAF Paul Ecke Jr. Award honoree. The Society of American Florists (SAF) says the award represents exemplary devotion to the profession, industry and community. “As an industry spokesperson and advocate for professional florists, Carol Caggiano is nearly unrivaled,” said Paul Ecke III. “She has been a tireless contributor to conventions, trade shows, design schools, garden clubs and association meetings, always promoting the power of flowers and the professionalism of retail florists.” Caggiano and her husband, Neil, also owned and operated Glen Head Flower Shop in Glen Head, N.Y., for 37 years.
