Sakata Announces Cut Flower TrialsSource: Sakata

Sakata has recently announced plans for a fall cut-flower seminar and trial to be held Sept. 12-13, 2006, in Costa Rica. The seminar portion of the event will be held at Hotel Tryp Corobici, San José, Costa Rica.

The seminars will include technical presentation by Dr. John Dole, North Carolina State University, as well as cut-flower marketing by Ben Pauley, vice president of mass markets at FTD.

The cut flower trial will be presented at the Sakata Research & Production facility in Cartago, Costa Rica, and will provide a review of the full range of Sakata cut flowers, including new introductions. In addition to the seminars, Sakata will have cut-flower trial tours and discussions as well as trial tours of experimental varieties.
