Terra Nova Nurseries Introduces New LithodoraSource: Terra Nova Nurseries

Terra Nova Nurseries announced a new 2014 “Sneak Peek” variety called Lithodora ‘Crystal Blue’. This is the first lithadora bred by the company. ‘Crystal Blue’ features the largest sky blue flowers of any lithodora available. Its vigorous foliage makes this variety an ideal groundcover.

‘Crystal Blue’ requires dormancy for growth and is drought-tolerant. It is very versatile, thriving well in gardens or containers. ‘Crystal Blue’ has a moderate growth rate and is most active during spring. The average size of this variety is 6 in. high, 30 in. wide and it has a 6 in. flower height. It grows best in Zones 5 – 7.
