Pansy Trials Scheduled For This FallSource: Sakata Seed America

Sakata Seed America will conduct pansy trials this fall at three different locations. Each site will provide a venue for a regionalized evaluation of Sakata genetics to include a full comparison trial.

The trials will provide an opportunity for growers to evaluate their pansy programs for the most profitable approach to this crop. Each trial is designed to provide controls for plant material to be grown under similar cultural conditions and growing regimes.

The Western Pansy Trial will take place Oct. 4-6, 2006 at Sakata Greenhouses in Salinas, Calif. The Southeast Pansy Trial is scheduled for Oct. 26, 2006 at Metrolina Greenhouses in Huntersville, N.C. Powell Plant Farms in Troupe, Texas, will host the Texas Pansy Trial on Dec. 13, 2006.
