That is when and where the 2012 OFA Perennial Production & Retail Conference will take place Sept. 10 to 12, at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The conference advisory group has put together an amazing educational program with more than 40 different sessions with tips and techniques for successfully producing and retailing perennials. There also will be a trade show where you will have a chance to talk to exhibitors about their newest products and services
On Sept. 10, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a full-day tour that will visit Spring Meadow Nursery, Walters Gardens and Sawyer Nursery.
Also on Sept. 10, there will be a six-hour Perennial Production Workshop conducted by regular GPN contributors Paul Pilon, Margery Daughtrey, Raymond Cloyd and Jamie Gibson. There also will be a day-long workshop on garden center makeovers.
