New to the Supertunia collection, Pink Charm and Watermelon Charm have a slightly smaller bloom size than traditional Supertunia varieties. Pink Charm exhibits early compact habit, which is great for small container production. Watermelon Charm boasts watermelon-toned blooms with a small white eye on a mounding habit.

Use media with a pH of 5.5 to 5.8. Maintain EC at 1.0 to 2.0. While rooting out, maintain temperature at 65 to 72° F. Growing on, temperatures of 55 to 65° are recommended. Supertunia varieties prefer high light levels and moderate to moist water level.

Finish time for four to six weeks for 4- to 5-inch pots, five to seven weeks for 6-inch pots and 1-gallon containers, seven to nine weeks for 8-inch pots, and either to 10 weeks for 10- to 12-inch containers.

For pots 6 inches and smaller, pinch at transplanting only. For hanging baskets and pots larger than 6 inches, a soft pinch is recommended at planting and trim around pot just prior to hanging. Application of 10- to 15-ppm Sumagic spray or 1- to 3-ppm Bonzi drench are effective at controlling growth. Apply as needed.
