PLANET Symposium Keynote To Address Hispanic WorkforceSource: PLANET

Discover ways for your company to be more Hispanic ready at the Professional Landcare Network’s (PLANET) Specialty Symposium, taking place Aug. 24-26, 2007, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, Ind. The keynote address will focus on improved understanding of Hispanic culture in the workplace.

Seth Dechtman, a business leadership and marketing expert well versed in Hispanic culture, will speak at the symposium. He has more than 15 years of international business experience and is passionate about demystifying cultural stereotypes and bringing communities and cultures together through business.

“It is very important for employers to understand the Hispanic culture,” stated Bob Grover of Pacific Landscape Management. “Cultural differences lead to misunderstandings and miscommunication. It is as important to understand the culture as it is to learn the language.”

Attendees can participate in a facility tour and reception on Friday. Saturday’s events will include the keynote address, concurrent sessions and a networking happy hour. Additional sessions will take place on Sunday.
