The Plantscape Industry Alliance (PIA) will be holding its annual CalScape Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 19-21, 2005. Plants at Work will be present in an effort to gather support and bring together industry colleagues who are interested in providing continuing education units and growing the size and profitability of the interior plant industry.

One new opportunity the group will be sharing is the Plants at Work Curricula, which has recently become approved as part of the National AIA Continuing Education System. This represents an “industry first” in terms of being potentially available to any interiorscaper from any company across the nation, according to Plants at Work. Tag design and data is targeted to reinforce to employees the company’s commitment to offering workplace plants. Corresponding posters and certificates, which reinforce existing plant installations, will also be available to review.

Located at booth number 79, Plants at Work will be carried 100 percent by sponsors. “This will be a great opportunity for investors to pull together and make the Plants at Work booth their own,” said McRae Anderson, director of Plants at Work and president of McCarren Designs.
