What’s in a [brand] name? Plenty.
As most of you know, a memorable brand name can be a powerful tool to convey your product’s message and appeal to customers. On that note, Ball Horticultural Company recently announced that Darwin Perennials will be the perennial brand name used within the North American horticulture trade.
“We are looking forward to enhancing our perennial line,” said Jessie Atchison, product marketing manager for Ball Horticultural Company. “Darwin Perennials carries through the innovation and exploration implied by the Darwin name, while also telling our customers exactly what this brand represents.”
Products included under this brand are bareroot and liner varieties previously available from Darwin Plants as well as Ball proprietary seed and vegetative varieties. The first catalog from Darwin Perennials, featuring a complete product listing for 2010, will be available June 2009.
