Clarity Connect, Inc., recently announced its alliance with Small Business Innovations Nursery Software. The partnership allows users to integrate the SBI software system, which includes inventory, production and order management, with Clarity's robust plant database to increase efficiencies and online sales for growers, garden centers and re-wholesalers.
SBI inventory databases are easily integrated into a Clarity customers' online Plant Database Manager. Access to this information can be limited, if needed, by requiring a login to view "customer-only" data. Accurate website availability helps avoid overselling, and it can also automatically trigger a promotion to reduce overstocks. As web orders are placed, they are imported into SBI, which reduces data entry time and errors.
"The partnership gives customers an industry specific e-commerce solution, which is important because marketing and selling plants on the web is much more complex than selling hard goods that don't grow or die," said Lisa Hattery, SBI marketing manager.
The SBI Web Modules can easily be integrated into a Clarity website and gives users unmatched inventory visibility, which translates to more sales and better customer service.
