Pacific Plug & Liner has redesigned their website in an effort to provide more information in a timely manner to all audiences — brokers, growers, retailers and gardeners alike. The new website will be a tool for everyone, with all plants showcased with extensive photography and detailed product information.
"We know that our industry is becoming ever more dependent on the internet as a way to communicate quickly and to gather product information. Our website can now answer that demand by providing more tools for growers," stated Ryan Hall, new product development and marketing manager at PP&L. The new tools available include a video gallery focused on recent plant trials, a broker listing, downloadable plant sales sheets and a catalog download option. Phase two of the website will include online product ordering with availability reflected in real time.
The new website, launched right before the beginning of Spring Trials in March this year, has already proven itself to be successful. Overall, users have expressed a gratitude for the new format, increased information and photography. Meanwhile, new visits to the website and total page views have shown a strong increase in the last eight weeks.
