F-CLEAN is an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) covering material that offers light transmission exceeding 90 percent. Its tensile and tear strengths are higher than other plastic films, and it offers low degradation from sunlight and heat. Its lifetime usually exceeds 15 years, and an F-CLEAN-covered greenhouse is easily cleaned by rain or snow.
