The new, biodegradable Straw Pot is made from rice straw, coconut husks and a natural latex adhesive. Pots are available in several standard sizes and shapes. They are designed for growers to be able to pot plants in them and ship them to nursery customers without damaging the pot. Once planted by consumers, the pots should naturally biodegrade in a three- to six-month period.
