The deadline to apply for the 2013 GPN/Nexus Intern of the year scholarship is just three weeks away.
If you know a college student who has participated in a horticulture-related internship program and would like to receive a check for $3,000; travel and lodging to 2013 OFA Short Course [2] including a full registration to Short Course; and a feature article about him or her in the January 2013 issue of GPN, then tell them they have until Oct. 22 to apply.
Each year for the past 13 years, [3] GPN and Nexus Greenhouse Corp. have been recognizing a college student who has successfully completed a university-sanctioned horticulture related internship. We are looking for the industry's future all-stars who may potentially become one of GPN's 40 Under 40 [4]honorees once they enter the working world!
If you know a special intern, please tell them that the clock is tick, tick, ticking.
