Veranda O aims to provide environmentally friendly control of challenging diseases such as Alternaria blight, Anthracnose, Botrytis, Fusarium, powdery mildew, Sclerotinia, and Rhizoctonia root and crown rot. Classified as a reduced risk pesticide by EPA, it is easy on beneficials and non-targets and has no effect on mammals, birds and fish. The active ingredient (polyxin) begins to degrade rapidly in the environment (two to three days). Veranda O may be used in greenhouses, shadehouses, container and field nurseries, arboretums and interiorscapes. As a spray or drench, it provides long-term residual control under light disease pressure.
