Agastache

Requiring little care once established, Arizona agastache is a great hummingbird plant. When mature, it grows 8-10 inches in width and height. Arizona is very compact and floriferous, and performs well in containers and the landscape. Hardy to Zone 6, it blooms in its first year.Available in three colors (Sandstone, Sun and Sunset), Arizona is a fast crop from spring sow. Crop time is four to five weeks from sowing to transplant and nine weeks from transplant to finish. The series is ideal for quarts and gallon pots.Under long days, plants will flower in 13-15 weeks. Under short days, they will flower in 17-20 weeks.Recommended temperature is 60-70° F days and 55-60° F nights. Maintain pH level at 6.4-7.5 and EC at 1.5-2.0. Agastache will exhibit chlorosis if media pH is below 6.2.In the garden, planting distance should be 10-12 inches off center in a dry, sunny location. Agastache will not tolerate wet conditions in the garden.
