A new red tubular form of gaillardia, ‘El Fuego’ is related to the seed-grown variety ‘Burgundy’ but is more compact. ‘El Fuego’ is long-blooming and suitable for beds, borders and containers. Trials show that it thrives in heat and humidity, retaining healthy foliage and flowers.
