Langeveld, Lowe’s Team To Offer Bulb Kits

Langeveld International and Lowe’s have teamed up to offer consumers amaryllis and paperwhite flower bulbs in indoor growing kits. The kits will include the flower bulbs, planting pot, planter bag and soil. The amaryllis kit contains one ‘Red Lion’ bulb, and the paperwhite kit contains four ‘Ziva’ bulbs. Sun Gro Acquires Normiska Peat

Sun Gro Horticulture Canada Ltd. recently completed its acquisition of the operating assets of Normiska Peat Inc. from Normiska Corporation. Of Normiska’s total 1,440 acres of professional grade peat bogs, nearly 1,300 acres have yet to be developed, which provide Sun Gro with long-term harvest growth potential. The acquisition also includes a peat processing plant and related harvesting equipment as well as product inventory.
