Researchers Seek Info on Impatiens Downy Mildew
There has been a lot of talk about impatiens downy mildew in recent years. It has been a major topic of discussion for the industry and now researchers at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cornell University and Michigan State University are conducting a survey to find out how impatiens downy mildew has impacted growers.
The researchers want to collect information on the impact of the disease, grower and retailer responses to the disease as well as information on trends in consumer purchasing. Results will be summarized and presented at a later date.
No personally identifiable information will be released from this study, as all numbers will become part of an aggregate number and results that will be presented on a regional basis.
