SAF Offering New Educational Programs
The 123rd Annual Convention of the Society of American Florists (SAF) will offer many new education programs and general sessions focusing on marketing/public relations and business revitalization. SAF Palm Springs 2007 will take place Sept. 26-29, at the La Quinta Resort and Club in Palm Springs, Calif.
Some highlights of the business program include :
Leadership, Innovation and Service Can Revitalize Your Business. At the Kick-Off Breakfast, Robin Crow, CEO of Dark Horse Recording, will offer a mix of music and message in his presentation about how to survive and succeed in this time of technological change.
Using PR to Power Your Market. At Friday’s Marketing Breakfast, Steve Dahllof, managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Planning and Strategy Group, will show you how to get key opinion leaders to send positive messages about your products and services.
Marketing for Every Age. Ann Fishman, generational marketing expert, will explain how to keep business competitive through marketing to the interests and motivations of specific generations in this Thursday morning session.
Additional programs include the Premier Product Showcase, SAF’s Outstanding Varieties and Sylvia Cup Design competitions, the SAF President’s Ball and the annual Awards Banquet.
