Schoneveld Breeding Named International Grower of the Year
Schoneveld Breeding has been selected by an international jury as the International Grower of the Year 2014. Each of the 25 participating countries could nominate one candidate for the award, an initiative between the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and FloraCulture International. The Dutch grower competed with companies from China, Canada and Denmark for the honor. The jury assessed the entries on economic performance, level of innovation, effectiveness of marketing strategy, high environmental standards and the organization of human resource management. Schoneveld Breeding reached the highest score on all criteria. Particularly Schoneveld Breeding was recognized for supply chain collaboration, where market anticipation is focussed on sales trends.
