Scotts Teams Up With Ball Seed
The Scotts Company has recently announced that Ball Seed Company will serve as a distributor of Scotts control-release and water-soluble fertilizer products.
Under the agreement, which is effective immediately, Ball Seed Company will distribute Scotts products including Osmocote- and Peters-branded fertilizers.
The arrangement was created to offer several new benefits for Scotts customers, primarily Ball Seed Company’s strong presence and high level of technical expertise in the horticulture market, according to The Scotts Company.
“Our ultimate goal is to supply our customers with inputs to grow the best plants,” said John Poultney, director of sales for PBG Americas, The Scotts Company. “By also providing them with access to Ball Seed Company’s representatives, we present our customers with an additional source of outstanding technical expertise.”
The Scotts Company other brands include Fungo, Banrot, Contrast, Truban, OH II, Ovation, Sanmite, Cygnus, Corral, Zyban and Rout.
