SNA Board Creates Summers Family Education FundSource: Southern Nursery Association

The Southern Nursery Association (SNA) board of directors has established an educational fund for former SNA Executive Vice President Danny Summers’ children and will make an initial contribution to the fund. Summers and his wife, Karen, who have served 18 years at SNA, announced their resignations in October.

“We are establishing this fund as a way of thanking Danny and Karen for their 18 years of faithful service to the association,” SNA President Skeeter McCorkle said. “We invite anyone who would like to join in this effort to do so by making a contribution.”

All contributed money will be placed into a fund under Danny’s direction to be used for the education of the Summers’ daughters, 13-year-old Kayla and 11-year-old Brittany.

Anyone wanting to contribute to the Summers Educational fund may do so by sending a contribution to:
