SNA Elects New President and OfficersSource: Southern Nursery Association

The Southern Nursery Association elected new officers for the 2015-2016 term at its 117th annual meeting in Atlanta during SNA 2015, and also announced a new president.

The Southern Nursery Association elected new officers for the 2015-2016 term at its 117th annual meeting in Atlanta during SNA 2015, and also announced a new president. The election determined representation for the following four regions: -Chapter 1: Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia -Chapter 2: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina -Chapter 3: Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee -Chapter 4: Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas Michael Hobbs from Warren County Nursery was elected president, succeeding Richard May of May Nursery. Hobbs is a third-generation nurseryman, and has been active in the horticulture industry for more than 40 years.
