Suntory Contributes to AIB Display at Philly Flower Show
Suntory Flowers is working with America in Bloom (AIB) to spotlight its varieties at the the Philadelphia Flower Show, taking place March 1-9.
America in Bloom will be exhibiting a display garden focused around the flower shows theme of “ARTiculture,” signifying the alignment of art and horticulture.
“We are thrilled once again to partner with America in Bloom to have our popular flowers on display for the third year at the worlds largest indoor exhibition,” says Taizo Chinju, managing director of Suntory Flowers. “As a major exhibit, people will experience a towns entrance featuring our flowers paired with shrubs, bold foliage and significant artwork. It will be truly memorable.”
This year, display designers from Longwood Gardens, Jim Sutton and Greg Trahan developed the design of the garden as a gift to America in Bloom.
The AIB display will feature Suntorys popular Surfinia Deep Red and White petunias, new Temari Candy Stripe verbena, Temari Patio Red and White verbena, and Dasana Lime ipomoea.
“Visitors will be able to experience first-hand the beautiful impact of our flowers in an inspiring setting that will welcome and charm guests at the show,” notes Chinju.
Suntory Flowers will be displaying its varieties of blooms along with flowers from Spring Meadow Nursery and Schubert Nursery, backdrops and woodworking from Walpole Woodworkers and Braun Horticultures unique frames.
