"It is an honor to receive this key award in the horticultural sector," Custers said. "We are proud that the quality, uniqueness and wow effect of Cannova Bronze Scarlet have been recognized by the various players from the distribution chain. The FleuroStar award will strongly support us in increasing Cannova's visibility in the market and in bringing its story across to the end consumer. This seed-raised F1 Canna is an excellent garden performer with perfect leaf quality and has all it takes to star in gardens all over the world."

The Fleuroselect jury praised the "superb contrast of scarlet flowers with dark foliage, giving this newcomer exactly what it needs to catch the consumer's eye at point of sale."
