'Tis the Season...

...to be making your trade show travel plans.

Even though we are still in the holiday home stretch, there is another season right around the corner — the Trade Show Season.

January is loaded with them. Check out the Calendar page on www.gpnmag.com and you will see what I am talking about.

While things slow down in the greenhouse, these conferences and trade shows provide you with an excellent opportunity to learn. Learn about new products but also learn about new ways to run your business (both in the greenhouse and in the office).

January  also will see the debut of The Next Level, the newest offering from OFA and ANLA.

The Next Level is not a trade show. It is being billed as a "business education event" and it will take place Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.

The Next Level is "a more focused learning experience in which participants work on the business, learning how to successfully manage and lead theirs in the new normal that characterizes the industry and the environment in which it operates."

"Every individual, every organization has a next level, the next dimension of performance and results to realize. The Next Level event is designed to help participants clarify their own next level, expose them to the ideas and insights to help bridge that gap, and connect them to like-minded colleagues who can support their journey," said OFA CEO Michael Geary when this new event was announced earlier this year.

If you are trying to get yourself as well as your business to the next level, this may be something you want to attend.

You can learn more about The Next Level at www.yournextlevel.org.
