This hardy verbena is bred to take the heat and stay in flower longer. EnduraScape is the first verbena that is hardy to the low teens and reblooms in spring. Available in seven colors, EnduraScape exhibits excellent powdery mildew resistance and superior branching. The finished product at retail has a full habit with high bloom count in gallon containers. Crop time is five to seven weeks for 4- to 5-inch pots with one plant per pot, seven to eight weeks in 6-inch pots and gallons with one to three plants per pot, and 10 to 13 weeks for 10- to 12-inch tubs or baskets with four to five plants per pot. Recommended pH range is 5.8 to 6.2. Maintain temperature at 71 to 79° F days and 62 to 64° F nights. Fertilize at 225- to 300-ppm nitrogen. Recommended light level is 5,000 to 8,000 foot-candles.EnduraScape is responsive to a B-Nine (2,500-3,000 ppm) and Cycocel (750-1,000 ppm) tank mix and Florel (250-300 ppm) to control growth and improve plant habit.
