ANLA Division Heads Take OfficeSource: ANLA

The American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA), a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing green industry business professionals, welcomed three new 2007-2008 Division Board Presidents and recognized the service of their predecessors during the association’s annual July meeting in Washington, D.C.

John Bryant, Millican Nurseries Inc., Chichester, N.H., succeeds Bud Eskola, Next Level Consulting Company Inc., Wallingford Conn., as president of the Landscape Distribution Division.

Joe Stoffregen, Homewood Nursery, Inc., Raleigh, N.C., will serve another term as president of the Retail Division.

Wanda Chase, Imahara’s Landscape Co. Inc., Baton Rouge, La., succeeds Mary Richardson, Burnett’s Landscaping Inc., Salem, Conn., as president of the Landscape Division.

George Hackney, Hackney Nursery Co., Greensboro, Fla., succeeds Bill Clayton, Clayton Tree Farm, Wilder, Idaho, as president of the Wholesale Growers of America Division.

The ANLA Senate also elected the following new leaders:

  • Retail Division: Lisa Minter-Bustin, Minter Country Garden, Chilliwack, British Columbia and Bill Jameson, Master Nursery Garden Centers, Inc., Concord, Calif.
  • Wholesale Nursery Growers of America: Gary Knosher, Midwest Groundcovers, St. Charles, Ill.
  • Landscape Distribution Division: Steve Brown, Alameda Wholesale Nursery, Inc., Englewood, Colo.
