Berger Peat Moss Opens New Production Plant

Berger Peat Moss, Ltd., is adding a new production plant in Hadashville, MB, to its other operations in Quebec, New Brunswick and Texas.

The family-owned business has been harvesting peat moss for more than 45 years. The new Hadashville facility, which opened on July 15, 2008, required a $6 million investment. The new plant will create approximately 20 new jobs and enable the company to provide quality products to new territories, according to a company press release.
