Ball Horticultural Company, an internationally renowned breeder, producer and wholesale distributor of ornamental plants, recently released its first sustainability report, which presents the sustainable measures implemented by Ball entities worldwide.

As a plant breeding and horticultural distribution company with 3,300 employees on six continents operating in 20 countries, Ball recognizes it is a complex and challenging process always to make sustainable decisions — and accepts the challenge with enthusiasm and optimism.

The three key areas addressed in the report are:

  • Creating a sustainable supply chain
  • Developing, sourcing and distributing sustainable products
  • Advancing social and environmental stewardship.

“We have witnessed some remarkable innovations, exciting new products and groundbreaking processes from our locations around the world," said Drew Effron, Product Manager for Ball Innovations. "This report presents a snapshot of our most significant sustainability accomplishments.”

The eco-friendly virtual report can be found on Ball’s website, where it can easily be shared digitally via e-mail.
