CfAHR Hires New Executive Director

The Center for Applied Horticulture Research in Vista, California, has hired Dustin Meador, PhD, to be its new executive director.

The Center for Applied Horticulture Research (CfAHR) has hired Dustin Meador, PhD, to be its new executive director.

Located in Vista, California, the CfAHR organization is a non-profit research and teaching center that is dedicated to the advancement of a sustainable horticulture industry.

The center facilitates communication between academia, industry-trade and maintains private collaborations with proprietary programs. 

During Dustin’s graduate work at the University of Florida his dissertaion addressed “Monitoring Irrigation Water Quality in Horticulture.”  He utilized a multi-disciplinary problem solving approach to improve the efficacy of water treatment systems and irrigation management.
