Crissey To Guide AFE Fundraising EffortsSource: AFE

The American Floral Endowment (AFE) recently announced the appointment of Sten Crissey to the new position of vice president of development and industry relations. Effective Feb. 1, Crissey will be responsible for raising awareness for AFE and developing relationships throughout the industry. AFE’s goal is to implement a successful gift and planned giving program to complement its current fundraising efforts.

“The endowment trustees are delighted that someone of Sten’s experience and stature has agreed to take on this pivotal role,” said AFE incoming Chairman, Mike Mellano.

Crissey, former owner of Crissey’s, Inc., Seattle, Wash., has been active in the floral industry since the 1970s. He served as president of both the Society of American Florists and the Northwest Florists Association and is a member of the American Academy of Floriculture.
