Experts at the Royal Horticultural Society have nominated 10 plants for the Plant of the Centenary competition to mark the 100th birthday of its Chelsea Flower Show. One plant represents each decade, and Geranium ‘Rozanne’ has received the nod for 1993-2002. The Geranium ‘Rozanne’ is easy to grow in a wide range of soils and conditions and requires very little maintenance. Unlike other hardy Geraniums, ‘Rozanne’ flowers from May through to the first hard autumn frosts. ‘Rozanne’ was also named the Perennial Plant Association’s Plant of the year for 2008. Blooms of Bressingham markets ‘Rozanne’ around the world. To see all the nominated flowers and to vote before the online ballot closes at noon on May 23, 2013, visit www.rhs.org.uk.
