Grand Rapids Set to Host Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo Next Week
The 2015 Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo will take place Dec. 8 and 9 in Grand Rapids.
The Expo will take place in conjunction with the Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Market Expo at the DeVos Place Convention Center.
Organizers of this year’s conference program have included information on production practices, how to become more profitable and reduce inputs, and how to grow niche crops. There are sessions planned for all levels of employees from industry new-comers to senior management and business owners.
Roberto Lopez of Purdue University will present the fundamentals of floriculture crop production for entry-level employees. The session will be offered in English and Spanish.
