Supertunia® 'Red' and 'Giant Pink', Torenia Summer Wave(TM) 'Large Violet', Temari(TM) 'Patio Red' and Sutera (Bacopa) 'Glacier Blue'

Supertunia® 'Red' and 'Giant Pink'

'Red' and 'Giant Pink' are much like the other Supertunia
varieties that you grow and love. Red has large flowers and excellent rich red
flowers while Giant Pink sets itself apart with very large flower size. These
are both excellent additions to the Supertunia line.

Growth requirements are very similar to other Supertunia varieties

-The pH should be kept between 5.5 and 6.0 and EC should be
at 0.5 or higher with the 2:1 method.

-They are heavy feeders and should be fed at a high rate of
fertilizer to ensure good leaf color.

-Growth can be controlled with cold temperatures or growth
regulators. Both Sumagic and Bonzi are effective treatments.

-Vigor and very large flower size may make it difficult to
produce Giant Pink as a 4-inch crop and it may require higher doses of growth
regulators to control the growth of this variety.

Temari(TM) 'Patio Red'

Patio Temari varieties are upright-growing Verbenas that are
perfect for patio pots and landscapes where a little height is needed.

-Growth requirements are similar to the other Patio Temaris
with Temari 'Patio Rose' being most similar.

-The pH should be kept between 5.5 and 6.0 and EC should be
between 0.5 and 0.8 with the 2:1 method.

-Growth can be controlled using lower temperatures, Sumagic
is also effective.

Torenia Summer Wave(TM) 'Large Violet'

Summer Wave Torenia is a great plant because it likes shade
and it handles the heat extremely well. It is the perfect plant for summer
shade containers of all kinds. Its trailing habit makes it a natural in
combination containers. Summer Wave 'Large Violet' is a welcome addition to the
series.

-Summer Wave 'Large Violet' is very similar to Summer Wave
'Blue' for growth characteristics.

-pH is best kept between 5.8 and 6.2 and EC should be
between 0.5 and 0.8 using the 2:1 method.

-Sumagic is effective at controlling growth.

-Do not use Florel because it will delay flowering.

Sutera (Bacopa) 'Glacier Blue'

Another great Sutera is added to the collection from Proven
Winners. The habit is upright mounding rather than the trailing habit most Sutera
have, making it very easy to produce in 4-inch pots.

-Production is similar to other Sutera (Bacopa).

-Do not let Sutera dry out because this will cause the
plants to drop most of their flowers; make sure the soil is kept evenly moist
as this will promote better blooming.

-It is best to keep pH between 5.5 and 6.0 and EC between
0.5 and 0.8 using the 2:1 method.

-B-9 is an effective growth regulator.
