The Dutch Agricultural Counselor’s office in Washington, D.C., has debuted a new portal designed to help interested parties make connections in the world of high-tech horticulture and floriculture. “The U.S., Canada and the Netherlands are top producers of quality horticulture and floriculture products,” says Martin Olde Monnikhof, the Dutch agricultural counselor, “There’s much we can gain from working together in areas such as new varieties, innovative technologies, greenhouse expertise and sustainable production practices. It’s time to make connections!” The HollandHorticulture.com portal is hosted by HollandFoodPartner.com, a cooperative effort of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency dedicated to the food production industry. The horticultural section of the website focuses on production of both food and flower crops. For more information, visit the site at www.hollandhorticulture.com.
