Smithers-Oasis Co. Buys Floralife

Smithers-Oasis Co. announced that it has purchased Floralife, Inc., a supplier of post-harvest floral products, from AgroFresh, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Rohm and Haas Company.

Smithers-Oasis manufactures and markets floral foams, accessories and floral mechanics to the retail floral market worldwide. Floralife manufactures and markets post-harvest flower care products for the floral industry. Both companies also manufacture and market products for the grower/greenhouse industry.

Myers Industries Completes ITML Horticultural Products Acquisition

Myers Industries, Inc., recently announced it had completed its purchase of ITML Horticultural Products, Inc., for approximately $110 million.

ITML, a private company based in Ontario, Canada, works in design, manufacturing and grower markets across North America. ITML will be integrated into Myers Industries’ lawn and garden segment and operated as a strategic business unit.
