Storyteller, cook and author, Jonathan Bardzik has released his second cookbook, Seasons to Taste – Farm Fresh Joy for Kitchen and Table. The cookbook connects the popular culinary world with the gardens and farms that produce our food.

Jonathan is well known to the horticultural industry through a career that has included many years in his family’s garden center and landscape business as well as a decade with AmericanHort (formerly the American Nursery and Landscape Association).

It is a 320-page hardcover collection of 127 recipes, 32 short stories and sidebars sharing everything from the origins of new vegetable varieties to the flavor differences between varieties of heirloom tomatoes.

Seasons to Taste is a four-season celebration of farm and garden-fresh food and the people – friends, family and farmers – that cooking and sharing brings together. The recipes are organized by season and each one illustrated with a full-color photograph.

Asked how the recipes taste, Jonathan replied, “As good as they look! Immediately after cooking and photographing each dish, my team ate them and will tell you that they are as delicious as they are simple to make.”

The book can be ordered directly at SeasonsToTasteCookbook.com and will be available at Amazon.com beginning December 1.

All copies ordered through SeasonsToTasteCookbook.com will ship signed and inscribed.

Bardzik is also the culinary face of Overdevest Nurseries’ Footprints line of naturally grown and sustainably packaged herb and vegetable plants, his live cooking demos at garden centers and the consumer-targeted videos he has produced for both All-America Selections and the National Garden Bureau.
