ChemChina Extends Date to Close on Syngenta Deal
ChemChina has extended its offer to buy Syngenta until April 28.
Previously, the deal was expected to close in early March.
The company said in a statement, “As previously stated, extensions to the tender offers are expected to occur until all conditions to the offers are satisfied, including obtaining all applicable regulatory approvals. All of the other terms and conditions of the tender offers remain unchanged.”
On February 13, the Federal Trade Commission requested additional time to review ChemChina’s $43 billion takeover of Syngenta.
