Costa Farms is celebrating National Indoor Plant Week (Sept. 14-18) with giveaways to help college student’s make over their dorms and radio interviews.

Justin Hancock, Costa Farms’ garden expert, will share tips for keeping dorm rooms stylish and healthy on college radio shows this week to inspire the next generation of gardeners.

“This event creates a national effort to increase awareness of the immense value of live indoor plants,” says Hancock. “There are so many reasons to include houseplants in our lives.”
National Indoor Plant Week brings together several organizations that are committed to the value of indoor plants. Costa Farms is lending its support by teaching college students across the country how to care for plants in their dorm rooms.

Hancock will be interviewed on college radio stations across the country including the University of Wisconsin, Boston University, Villanova University, Temple University and University of Arkansas.

“Houseplants recycle the air around them, creating a natural and healthy environment,” says Hancock. “National Indoor Plant Week is the perfect time to remind people of the many benefits our O2 for You plants provide. “
