The event, taking place June 19 to 21 in Greenville, S.C., is a great addition to anyone’s busy summer show season list.

Learn from peers and industry leaders. This year’s conference features a comprehensive educational program of sessions, workshops and tours for all segments of the greenhouse production and garden center retailing.
Educational highlights. Over the course of three days, a combination of lecture sessions and hands-on workshops will explore topics critical to the success of both production and retail business. Among the conference highlights is the six-hour “What You Need to Know Right Now to Survive the Drought” session. This timely track, covering eight topics with a distinguished panel of experts, will provide practical information for any business struggling with drought issues. Topics will include “How to survive that ‘no cash’ season or more,” “Evaluating Alternative Markets,” and “Strategic Water Energy Independence.”
In addition, the event will feature three in-depth, interactive workshops covering these topics: container gardening, insect and mite identification, and disease identification. Additional general sessions on topics ranging from “Fuel-Efficient, Low-Temp Crop Production” to a “PGR Update for Herbaceous Perennials” will be offered Thursday through Saturday.
