Horticultural Printing & Marketing Hires New Director
Horticultural Marketing & Printing has hired Todd Davis as director of its OnSyte/Catalog Division.
Davis, a 22-year industry veteran, has worked in various positions such as the general manager of a 9-acre landscape distribution center in Texas to publisher of a horticulture trade magazine.
Over the years, he has served on multiple boards and committees with state and national trade associations, and is currently a member of the Horticultural Research Institute Board of Trustees.
The move comes on the heels of Horticultural Marketing & Printing closing its Florida facility and consolidating the OnSyte/Catalog Division with the rest of its production facilities in Mesquite, Texas. The consolidation will provide better service and decrease customers’ shipping charges by centralizing fulfillment, and providing room for expansion.
The company also expanded its production capabilities with more than $2 million of new printing equipment and technology including a new press dedicated to the automated production of plant tags and a large-format digital press for outdoor point of sale.
