LSU Hosts Poinsettia Open House
The Louisiana State University (LSU) AgCenter will host its 2006 poinsettia open house this December. More than 70 poinsettia varieties will be on display.
The open house will take place Dec. 8, at the Burden Conference Center in Baton Rouge, La., from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. During the open house, LSU researchers will present the results of a recently conducted poinsettia fertilization and post-harvest study.
This year’s variety suppliers include Paul Ecke Ranch/Oglevee, Fischer USA, Dummen USA and Selecta First Class.
