New Heucherella Available
Terra Nova Nurseries is introducing a new Heucherella Falls ‘Glacier Falls’.
Joining the company’s Heucherella Falls series, ‘Glacier Falls’ features fuzzy, blue green leaves with dark veins and a white veil. Vigorous and fast growing, this perennial will fill a special niche for many growers’ retail customers.
Heucherella ‘Glacier Falls’ was specifically bred with H. villosa and H. americana to improve its heat and humidity tolerance. ‘Glacier Falls’ makes for the ideal groundcover, but its frosted cool appearance of foliage does well in container gardens as well.
With stems that trail 18 inches, the average size is 8 inches tall, 28 inches wide with a 12-inch flower height. ‘Glacier Falls’ grows best in zones 4 – 9.
