Project EverGreen’s Work Continues To Gain SupportSource: Project EverGreen

Project EverGreen’s national work to preserve and enhance green spaces is steadily gaining more support. Den Gardner, executive director, commented on the financial contributions that have been received in the first half of 2007, stating, “This year we have experienced a significant addition to the number of contributors who have stepped forward to underwrite our educational mission. The number – and the breadth – of these contributions is particularly gratifying since it represents participation from all segments of the green industry.”

Additionally, the names of 26 green industry suppliers, contractors, associations and private individuals who have contributed to Project EverGreen during the second quarter of 2007 have been released. This list includes: Atwood Lawn Care, Inc., Bayer Crop Sciences, Hunter Industries Inc., Husqvarna, Jacobsen, John Deere C, Kirk Hunter, Maryland Nursery Landscape Association, Monsanto Company, PBI/Gordon Corporation, Nufarm Americas Inc., Ohio Lawn Care Association, Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, Phil Fogarty, Professional Grounds Management Society, Professional Landcare Network, Inc., R.B. Farms LLC, Sloane’s Landscaping and Nursery, Syngenta Crop Protection, The Brickman Group, Ltd., TOCA, Turfgrass Producers International, Turf-Logic, Weed Man USA, Westlawn Corp. and the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association.
