New Web Site Provides Poinsettia Help

Poinsettia growers have a new on-line resource to help with their production challenges. This Web site provides growers with technical information on poinsettia production and provides access to graphical tracking software to help compare actual and target plant heights and guide crop decisions.

UNH FloraTrack is available at www.plantdocs.biz/floratrack. The Web site is hosted by Plant Docs, an on-line training and software company.

Free registration allows growers to access different poinsettia links and an e-book on how to use graphical tracking for crop management. Registered users can purchase an optional annual license to download graphical tracking software. Plant Docs has partnered with Fischer USA and Paul Ecke Ranch to provide discounts on the annual site license for their customers. A discount is also available for educators.

Fine Americas Debuts New PGR

Fine Americas has introduced Concise, a new plant growth regulator, to help growers produce better ornamental crops. Concise contains .055 percent uniconazole and is formulated as a soluble concentrate. It can be used as a foliar spray, drench, dip (for bulbs or liners) and media spray. More information on Concise is available at www.fine-americas.com.
