To assist Spanish-speaking growers select the most effective solutions for their pest management challenges, BASF Turf & Ornamentals has posted a free Spanish version of its Pest Management Guide on http://www.betterplants.com.

“This Spanish version of the guide helps Spanish-speaking growers use science more responsibly while yielding better plants,” said Dr. Toni Bucci, the company’s business manager, in a press release.

The guide addresses fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. Charts in each section of the guide include information on Fungicide Resitance Action Committee (FRAC), Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) and Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC) mode of action classifications for each product listed.

In addition, the charts provide side-by-side overview of primary target pests, chemical group, active ingredients and trade names, as well as restricted entry (REI) and use sites for each product.
